Dog sledding

Happy dogs and eager wagging tails greet you upon arrival. Sleds are prepared with warm, fluffy reindeer skins, dogs are harnessed, and when it's finally time to set off, you can’t miss the dogs’ joy and enthusiasm as they get to do what they love most – pulling!

Then the journey begins through a snow-covered landscape, through forests, over marshes, and up onto the mountains where silence falls, broken only by the dogs’ steps and breathing – and the magic sets in. Sparkling snow on the ground and trees in the sunshine or in the darkness under the moonlight. Under falling snowflakes or on a cold, calm day – every day has its own charm. Maybe we’re lucky enough to spot wild animals during the trip. Nature is full of surprises, and no trip is ever the same.

For us, the greatest joy is seeing the dogs work and be happy. Our goal is for it to be fun – for both dogs and humans.

Our dogs

We are a small kennel with around 15 dogs, where each individual is valued and given the time they deserve. Every dog is unique and has their own superpower—whether it’s being attentive and able to lead the entire team, having the strength of an ox and working hard at the back to move the sled forward, loving puppies and helping raise them, or being a calm and reliable companion who supports others. Every dog has a role in the pack and is equally important.

Alaskan Huskies are top athletes in the animal world and one of the most popular breeds used in world-famous sled dog races like the Iditarod in Alaska—a race spanning 1,800 kilometers!

In addition to being fast and enduring athletes, Alaskan Huskies are loyal and friendly dogs who thrive in a pack. We often say they are pure joy and love!

Food is the fuel for sled dogs, and we feed ours fresh meat—which they love. But to build a strong and healthy body, rest is just as important. We make sure every dog feels calm and safe in their kennels, without unnecessary stress. On rest days, the dogs spend time together in a large play area to strengthen important social bonds.

The dogs are a lifestyle and a never-ending passion. They are our highest priority, and we are both happy and grateful to have the honor of sharing our lives with them. We know each one inside and out and are thrilled to share their stories and zest for life with you during our tours!
